We arrived in Venice yesterday morning! We did A LOT of walking around, getting lost, exploring, etc. We also visited St. Mark’s Square, walked through St. Mark’s Basilica (there will be no picture of the Basilica from the outside – although it is an iconic image of Venice, there is some serious scaffolding taking up a majority of the front of the building so taking a good picture was impossible), and toured the Doge’s Palace – which included walking through the famous Bridge of Sighs. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the day.

Ah, beautiful! Grandmom and Aunt Jessie went here together, great stories! I painted a picture once for grandmom of the bridge of sighs… very amatuerish but got the point across. No way you could have not enjoyed this spectacular trip! Bless you.
